About Our CEO

CEO, Megumi Ijiri Haskin, began her career in Tokyo at Hakuhodo, the second largest advertising agency in Japan. She worked in an intense cosmopolitan environment with high profile corporation across numerous industries. She created concepts for their advertising campaigns and managed the production of TV and radio commercials. Her extensive experience in the competitive advertising industry and her contribution to the business growth of clients who represented some of the best known global brands is the backbone of Ijiriya USA today.

After relocating to Seattle and leaving behind the benefits of working at a large well known corporation, Megumi had to re-establish herself from square one. She started out as a writer for a local Japanese newspaper. She took every small project seriously and found ways to get involved once again in the business community. She took a vice president of marketing position at a start-up company that was planning to market to Japan as the only Japanese executive member. In that position, she learned how a startup company is built from the ground up.

In 2001, Megumi established Ijiriya USA. Her passion is to serve as the bridge between her beloved home country of Japan and the US. With her 20+ years of consumer marketing experience and expertise, we are always ready to serve new clients to help them achieve their business goals. Our scope of business has expanded and we have set  foot in other Asian countries as well.
